Dandelion Leaf

Dandelion Leaf is a phytochemical-rich bitter herb, that has been shown to be nephroprotective and support the body’s natural antioxidant defenses. Phytochemicals found in dandelion leaf such as quercetin glycosides and chicoric acid have been shown to help restore a balanced inflammatory response.*

Goldenrod

Like dandelion leaf, goldenrod (Solidago gigantea) aids in bile flow, gently flushing the body by increasing urine output. Historically, goldenrod has been used to aid a variety of kidney and bladder disorders.

Fu Ling and Zhu Ling:

Fu Ling or poria cocos, is a fungus that grows around the roots of pine trees, that has been shown to support kidney tissue integrity.*

Zhu Ling or polyporus umbellatus, is an edible mushroom species, that has been shown to support healthy kidney function by influencing normal genetic expression. Zhu Ling also supports the integrity of kidney tissue.

He Shou Wu

He Shou Wu is a traditional Chinese herb, shown to have nephroprotective benefits. It contains an antioxidant compound structurally similar to resveratrol.

Astragaloside IV

Astragaloside VI is a phytochemical derived from Astragalus, shown to be nephroprotective by supporting upregulation of Klotho, a protective protein responsible for multiple processes involved with healthy aging. Astragaloside VI has also stood out in its ability to protect against podocyte cell death, which are specialized kidney cells.

Ferulic Acid

Ferulic Acid, a phytochemical found in various fruits and vegetables, has demonstrated its kidney protective abilities by fortifying the body’s natural antioxidant defenses, supporting a healthy inflammatory response, alongside normal cellular turnover. How To Use
